Come and join us next Sat, 27th Jan, for the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch.
1 -2pm, we'll be having some quiet time in the top shelter, watching and counting the birds. There'll be soup to keep you warm. If you have binoculars, please bring them.
2-4pm - We'll be making some pine cone bird feeders for your garden, and improving our ID skills through creating some bird art.

We are SO SO excited that Nottingham Shakespeare Company are joining us as part of Bulwell Art Festival, to bring Much Ado About Nothing to Bulwell!!
This event is free to attend, aimed at adults and older children, and we will be selling Pizza and Pimms for an hour before the show.
Bring a picnic blanket or camping chair, and settle in for a great show!

Anita Christie will lead an aromatherapy medicinal workshop, where you will make a product to take home.
We will also forage for ingredients to make herbal teas and a vegetarian lunch.

This FREE 3 hour workshop is aimed at both beginners and those who already have a little photographic knowledge. Whilst keeping the technical jargon to a minimum, participants will learn some straightforward creative tricks to transform their garden photography! The session is very much hands-on and task based, with support from photography tutor, Jon Legge.
Nothing required but enthusiasm and a digital camera, or even a mobile phone!

Come and help us spot our feathered friends living at BFG. We will also be making bird feeders and have some bird related crafts.
Bring the family to enjoy our winter wonderland. We are lighting up the woodlands and have a special visitor coming from the North Pole . There’ll be carols round the campfire, festive crafts and food served throughout the day.
Come and join us with the family to celebrate Autumn with apple pressing, we’ll be making our own garlic bread in the clay oven to go with our Pumpkin Soup, there’ll be environmental crafts and den building.

Wildlings Connect, Learn and Play is a great way for children and parents to get outside and reconnect through nature.
Over four weeks, starting Saturday 12 June at Bulwell Forest Gardens, 10am to midday*, these Covid secure sessions, aimed at parents and children aged five to eight will teach new skills through nature-based play, including:
• resilience
• risk-taking
• resourcefulness
• relationships
• responsibility and independence.
Spaces are limited to a maximum of two children and one adult per household – and you must be
a Nottingham City Homes tenant or leaseholder to take part.
